The Standard Distance bcu Coffs Tri will take place on Sunday 5th March 2017 and is a National Standard Triathlon Qualifying Race and Age Group ITU World Championship Qualifying Race. Your finishing position will determine the number of selection points you receive, giving you points to represent Australia at Rotterdam, Netherlands in September 2017.
The Coffs Harbour event will also be the NSW State Championship Race to determine the best triathletes in NSW.
Competitors will enjoy a 1.5km ocean swim in the protected harbour; a 40km cycle on a flat, CLOSED course; finishing with a run around the picturesque Coffs Jetty Foreshores.
With its beautiful location and world-class course, the bcu Coffs Tri is one of the must do events on the national Triathlon calendar.
There is also an Enticer Triathlon (375m/10km/2.5km) to encourage people to try a triathlon with the aim of stepping up to the main event the following year.
On Saturday 4th March are the bcu Coffs Kids Tri races for ages 6 – 14 years.
